Story Overview
The saga begins with a child raised beneath a roaring waterfall, destined to claim the throne of Mahishmati. From Queen Shivagami’s (Ramya Krishnan) fierce loyalty to the rivalry between Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas) and Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati), from Devasena’s (Anushka Shetty) unbreakable spirit to Kattappa’s (Sathyaraj) heartbreaking devotion – every thread is perfectly woven. Part 1 builds mystery, Part 2 delivers thunderous answers. Now merged into one flowing narrative, the war sequences (especially the legendary Kalakeya battle) still remain unmatched in world cinema. You’ll laugh, cry, cheer, and scream “Jai Mahishmati!” by the end.

Review
Rating: 10/10 ⭐ A MUST-WATCH on the big screen!
Watching Baahubali: The Epic in 2025 feels like time travel to 2015 – but with 10X better visuals and sound! Rajamouli’s vision is pure genius: every frame is a painting, every war cry gives goosebumps. Prabhas owns the screen in both avataras – the gentle king and the fierce warrior. Rana’s Bhallaladeva is the villain you love to hate, while Anushka’s Devasena remains the gold standard for strong female characters in Indian cinema. MM Keeravani’s soundtrack (“Dandaalayyaa”, “Saahore Baahubali”) still hits the soul. Yes, a few romantic portions were trimmed for pacing, but the emotional core is untouched. Critics on Rotten Tomatoes call it “India’s Lord of the Rings”; audiences are giving standing ovations in theaters. Minor flaw? It’s long – but every minute is worth it.
